Yes, yes... it's Austrian not Carribean, it's waaaay overproof, it's not even "real rum" as some say, but still... it has quite nice aroma imho when mixed with cola, and when mixed 1:1 it has a surprising smoothness given it still keeps then a robust 40% on board! Thus a perfect drink if you want to feel a pleasant effect quick and without consuming volumes. Not to be sipped or drank straight quite obviously, unless you are a robocop... or a Polish student :)

Not sure this is for drinking or refueling my car. One thing is for sure I will never buy it again.
Lowered a few bottles of this very strong Austrian rum when I was on a skiing holiday in Kitzbuhl, Austria as a teenager.
It falls into the same category as the Thai varieties Mehkong and SangSom, ie party, party, party without caring about what you drink.
Bought a bottle once Rum from Austria how unique. Would only break it out to get old friends HAMMERED. I do remember butterscotch notes with 100 octane gasoline. Guess it’s cold in Austria or they just like to hurt themselves. I guess we finally finished the bottle.

This rum is like an emergency shot you take, when you need to warm quickly or get wasted. Or get it on some dried fruit. Then it is good. Not useful as a sipper of course.

No words...
it just good if you need to kill someone, but poison is already finished.
Do no, but if you wona try this one, keep sure you have grapefruit juice. It’s only way to survive after this “80c kick to your stomach”.
Blood awful and not at all rum-like.
I drank some of this irresponsibly a long time as ago as a dumb kid at a party and woke up in the morning with a broken leg & no memory of what happened.
I tried some recently for nostalgia purposes and it was still unbelievably bad.
I would advise anyone to swerve this rum.

Stroh 80 and Coke. How can that go wrong?... A taste of Austria and stupid drunkness...
This is clearly a spiced rum, as the taste is more spice than rum.
I'm not great with spices, but I think it has butterscotch, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves. Nicely sweet too; kind of like a Christmas cake.
Really not that bad, but it's got a lot more spice than rum flavor, and I prefer rum.

Det enda jag skulle använda den här "rommen" till är i afterski-syfte. Mjölkchoklad med strohrom i.
Bra vid förkylning annars :-P
Absolutely rancid and completely fake.
"A huge waft of sweet sugar and sickly sweet honey notes."
