The nose is wonderful, in the mouth it is thick.. With a hint of coffe.. But the fire from the alcohol comes at you. It burns you at the finish. And leaves you with that wonderful hint of coffe. I canΒ΄t wait for this rum to mature..
I tried this series 12y 15y and XO and they taste all the same and you have the same burning experience. I had hoped with this one that it would be different but I cannot sip it straight compared to my other rums
Wow.. such a surprise, it's truly been a while since i enjoyed a rum like this! Absolutely worth trying!
Ok sipper, good mixer. But for that price - terrible for both.
Best Rum in the category β¬50-β¬75. Smooth, silky, creamy, sugar, vanilla. The French oak gives it a more fruity flavor than American oak. One of the few rums I always keep in stock!
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I found this to be a great rum. One of the best values there is (after the Ron Centenario 20 which is cheaper and even better imho).
Super easy drinking and smooth for 42% abv. Smells and tastes of molasses, toffee, caramel, burned sugar, honey, cinnamon, spice, and just a hint of orange.
A fabulous rum!
