I was pleasantly surprised to find this rum at Costco awhile back and now I'm on my second bottle. The first sip is amazing with a smooth feel and lots of burnt sugar on the palate. However, subsequent sips do not have a lot of other complexity or I would have given this rum an 8 rating. Overall, very tasty. Don't know how long my store will carry this one but it is well worth the $22 investment!

A 15-year-old rum for $21.69? I found it smooth with notes of dark brown sugar and vanilla, as it says on the bottle. Not a lot of subtle flavors, but very drinkable. Would be great as a mixer and not bad sipped straight.

Was surprised to see this and eager to try it. It was quite smooth but not a lot of different flavours popping out. I remember only fine subtleties that may require additional tastings.

If someone told me this was a $50 bottle, I would believe them. As it is though, this is a phenomenal bottle of rum that for $21.00 serves as a perfect sipper and mixer

A friend sent me a picture of this bottle while shopping at Costco. A 15 year aged rum from anywhere will always peek my attention. Then when he told me the price, I immediately asked him to grab me a bottle. I opened it and experienced loads of brown sugar(if you told me it was literally dosed with brown sugar I’d believe you) and plenty of oak. The age is neither here nor there, but it definitely surprised me coming out of Costco with the Kirkland name on it. I gave it an extra point for the bottle because I’m sucker like that.

Wow! What a find for $20. Tried wholesale rum before and was not impressed. This is different. Flavor is similar to Pilar dark, which is a favorite, so I understand why I like it. This is not quite as smooth as a $45 bottle, but then it’s not $45 either. For me it was a great find that I plan to buy again.

Delicious! A surprisingly smooth rum that tastes like oak and vanilla. A 15 year rum at this price point that’s so easy to sip….absolutely worth trying. A pleasant surprise from Costco.

Tastes like acetone and gasoline laced with a lot of sugar. You can cook with it but not much else.

Beautiful color and sweet notes from start to finish. A little of the rum roar that you expect from. High end rum but not quite to that standard. Way up in the list at the price point.
