Bacardi Superior

Good for mixing some drinks, but not very drinkable alone

Great mixer. Strawberry daiquiris mixed with this was my point of entry for rum. Anyone that rates this as bottom-of-the-barrel rum is a moron. It's actually one of the better values out there considering it isn't sugared down like a lot of "premium" rums. That said, I doubt I'll be shipping it any time soon, but the characterization by some cranks of Bacardi Superior as being naught better than drain cleaner is undeserved and hyperbolic in the extreme. Some people really need to get a grip.

use it to get drunk mixed with coke or for a characterless daiquiri. that's it. everyone knows this stuff.

You typical sliver well rum in bars, not for sipping.

Only in a cocktail to get drunk, doesn't even match in a Cuba Libre, never to sipp it. Penetrant esthers with no body or complex

This no frills white for mixers don’t expect an incredible rum but works with monitors, and other rum drinks that require white rum

I haven’t bought this in years. It could even ruin a coke if mixed that way. Drink it straight, and I imagine that’s what paint thinner would taste like.
