Exceedingly good rum. Smooth. Can definitely taste the butterscotch. Just what I needed after a very long set of shifts! Rest days are finally here.
Nice slightly sweet woodsy nose, hint of brown sugar. Drier, almost chalky taste. Nice balance, slight spice on the tip of my tongue. Some nuts like cashews comes through. Nice medium finish. I wouldn’t call it immensely complex, and a little closer to bourbon than I normally go for, but still a solid rum that’s certainly worth a try.
Smells strong and harsh. But tastes the opposite. It’s sweet and full of vanilla.
One of my favourites
Nice warm taste which slips down all too easily. Could easily drink far too much of this!
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I was excited to try this rum based on its relatively high score of 8.2. But almost all of the 10's came from people who only rated Pirate's Grog rum, so those scores appear to be bogus.
This is an ok rum, with notes of chocolate, oak, sugar cane, and leather. Not bad, but not as good as the current score (or price) indicates.
