I think Dominican Republic makes some of the best rums, and many of my 10 rated rums come from there. But I found this to be a bit dry and rather ordinary for a Dominican Republic rum.

Hot at 65%, which is nice for great rums, but not so nice for rums that aren't great. Smells and tastes of bourbon and molasses. Not too much else going on that I can taste.

Not a bad rum at all, but below expectations for a Dominican Republic rum at this price point (~$130ish).
