This rum is not for drinking straight up, its way to harsh.
As a mixer it does alright and the drinks are enjoyable
but there are better ones out there at similar prices.

Es uno de mis favoritos para mezclar con refrescos, da un buen sabor, sin llegar a ocultar el sabor del refresco
A good rum, many flavors blocked by the smell of alcohol !

El olor a alcohol predomina, sin cuerpo. Solo para consumo en restaurantes y bares, pero no para el hogar.

Not a big one, but certainely good ! I can say it's a pretty descent vanilla taste rhum but taste too much the alchool for me. Good for lover of whisky/scotch !

Délicieux rum, goût pas trop dure avec un soupçon de vanille. À déguster entre amis sois "On the rock" Ou en "Cuba libre".

Take the imperial instead, a wee bit better as this one, and bascically the same price

Einfach und simpel , eher zum mixen mit cola oder cocktails (mit Maracuja sehr lecker).
Ähnliche facetten wie der imperial.

Un bon rhum pas trop cher. Il ne ressemble pas à l impérial. Je le mélange avec du coke.

Sa robe est or pâle.
Au nez, l’impression est sèche. L’arôme dominant est nettement le caramel. Viennent ensuite des notes torréfiées de chocolat. Pour finir une touche vanillée apparaît. L’ensemble est relativement frais.
En bouche, l’attaque est souple mais sèche, ici pas de sucre. On retrouve les mêmes marqueurs qu’au nez. Le chocolat et le caramel font cependant jeu égal. Bien que la bouche soit plutôt légère, les arômes ne sont pas si timides que ça.
La finale est assez longue et toujours sèche. Les mêmes notes demeurent et un boisé discret pointe le bout de son nez.
