Barcelo Anejo

This one is worse than the gran añejo when drinking on the rocks and even with coke you seem to have a cheap rum-coke which is drinkable.

Really excellent for cocktails, where it's qualities have a chance to stand out.

Very cheap rum with a distinctive sweet flavor, maybe a little bit more harsh than it's "Gran Anejo" brother. Still a very bad investment.

Eigentlich nichts besonderes, allerdings für Mixgetränke wie Cuba-Libre gut geeignet. Zum pur trinken etwas zu starker (biterer) Nachgeschmack. Der Unterschied zum Barcelo Imperial ist deutlich zu spüren.

Mladý rum se všemi jeho neduhy.
Líh z něj čpí na metry. Degustace je ztráta času.

This is in my opinion only for drinks! for zipping I recommend more expensive Ron Barcelo Rums.

Too sweet but at the same time not very much complexity of flavor...

For Sipping (not for sipping)
For mixing (go for more balanced mixers rather than sweet one otherwise you will get gummy bear like taste out of it)

This may seem a bit different but this is an excellent mixer rum when the sunshine is there on the beach.... In the UK we don't have this luxury so it tastes quite bland....
