found this on sale and had never heard of it. Looked it up on Rum Ratings and found it hard to resist. a great little sipper and the only negative is that the label looks like it belongs on a whiskey bottle. Oh well, still in the top 10 rums on my list at the minute.

Balanced and clean with a light body. Quite easy drinking.

A great tasting rum for the price. Best served neat over ice. It’s very smooth and has a slightly spiced taste. Would highly recommend.

I like this one as a sipper. Put in a couple of ice cubes and sip it. Nice easy drinking rum. This is good like Diplomatico Exclusiva and Flora de Cana 12 or 18 year. These are all nice balanced enjoyable sipping rums under 50 dollar range.

I tried this rum some while ago, I was not impressed then but today I tried it for the second time. It starts of quite soft, with a firm burn afterwards. Some slight sweetness but very subtile. There are some oak and a bit of spices tones around.
Its okay but I prefer some other rums instead, the More zips I take the less interesting it gets.

Nothing special, expectations were much higher, but it’s a pity....

This one was new on the menu of my favorite bar, so I had to try it. First impression was a little too harsh alcohol smell and taste, but the more I sipped the sweeter and more pleasant it got. After 4cl I felt like an encore. Solid choice

Fairly average, bit harsh up front. Would probably use as a mixer than anything else. No extra points given, but the new bottle is really nice.
