I didn't expect to much because of what I paid for it, but with coke it added pleasure to the hot nights in Thailand...

Tastes more like a whisky than rum. Dry aftertaste and a wee bit harsh on the first mouthful. Warms as it goes down, but nothing special

The value of this rum is in memories. Not good and not bad. But i hold the bottle of it in my liquor cabinet.

To be hones, I was a bit afraid of trying a rum from Thailand which is not a typical rum producing country, but this rum can hold the candle to the same priced offerings of traditional rum brands. The smell is spices, with a touch of vanilla, the taste is semi-sweet honeyed vanilla, quite spicy, the aftertaste is pleasant and spicy burn. The overall feel is - uncomplicated, yet solid and cheap rum, which beats mainstream competitors such as Captain Morgan in every aspect. It is surprisingly drinkable on its own, and does not disappoint in mixed drinks either.

This was the other “whiskey” that we had whilst on holiday and again when we brought it home realised again it was a rum
