Sailor Jerry Spiced

It's serviceable. Not the best rum for sipping by any stretch, but you could do worse for a rum for a long drink.

Long time ago, my friend invite me to try some strange, really different taste out of the very common rum drinks. I agreed and was really surprised in a very good way. Excellent taste, excellent smell, in such a price this is one of my favorites.

Easily consumable in a bind....not bad....but alcohol tends to overpower the spice.

Nice to mix in cocktails , it gives a boost of different aromas. To sweet and artificial to drink it straight.

There's been a load of hype regarding this rum in recent years and as much as I try not to get caught up in 'drinks of the moment', I gave it a go. Nice aftertaste and smooth, but man, is it sweet! Far too sweet for me, even mixed. I wouldn't have this in my drinks cabinet.

The rum that gradually turned me on to finer things. Moderately strong alcohol burn and rather harsh, but the spice mixture is rather nice and makes it quite potable - I'll even sip it straight from time to time.

Jesus i could not finish that drink, i know many people like it, but surely not rum for me.

Sweet but nothing special. A lot of bars stock it and if you have no choice it is good as a mixer at best.

A lovely spiced drop. Mixes nicely and goes down smooth. Really enjoyed this and for the price (normally under £20) it’s going to be a mainstay

I will say for a spiced rum I was expecting more flavor, the vanilla is subtle but you notice is not the vanilla you feel on a non-spiced rum from the wood, this one feels a little bit more artificial. A bit alcoholic. I think I have tried better spiced rums. I give them credit because I also had tasted much worst than this.
