This rum has aromas similar to the Millonario XO. It's in the same relationship to the Millonario XO as the Zacapa 23 to the Zacapa XO.
The Millonario 15 is younger, cheaper and a simpler alternative to the XO.
It's not as balanced as XO and the aromas of glue/herbs are very dominant. It's sweet and dark in the taste, also very intensive. Of course it's unique, but you have to love this combination of flavors. It's not for everyone.
If you love sweet rums based on molasses, go for it.

Smell: glue, herbs (parsley is very itensive), burned sugar, caramel, fruits in the background (peach, banana, raisins), barrel.
Taste: parsley, sweetness (caramel, peaches), spice, coffee, fruit, vanilla, wood, some glue.
Finish: middle long, sweet dark chocolate with parsley, spice.
Aftertaste: sweetness, then sherry.

Let it in the glas for 30 minutes, then the smell of glue reduces.

Country: Peru
Production: Blend, 4-Rows-Solera
Age: 8-15
Material: Molasses
Barrel: American white oak & Slavonian oak

Sweetness: 3.5 / 5
Spice: 2.5 / 5
Fruits: 3/5
Mildness: 3/5
Complexity: 3/5
Value (40€): 3/5
Experience level: amateur

What's special: Distilled in three old Scottish column stills. They use their own yeast (don't know which kind).

Rhum doux et plein d'arôme, très plaisant pour une dégustation avec un bon cigare

Easy to drink but no after-taste. At first I thought that does not worth it. Now that the bottle is almost empty ( not in the same day :) ) seems that it has at least one advantage over the other ones: after 2 glasses you get the dizziness that you want for a good Saturday night :)

Tasty, sweet but not too sweet, no “pure alcohol” taste, very pleasant to drink

I found this to be decent on the rocks but only in small quantities, very heavy on the brown sugar notes to me. As a mixer it was too sweet to mix with cola but made a very good dark n stormy. Would I buy again, probably not.

My No. 1. Sweet and smooth is taste, beautiful aroma. I have sweet tongue and this fits my style the best. For anybody who prefer sweet, this is the one. Fruity richness. Really astonishing.
However, I have to say I do not like the lid. Seriously? Use the cork! This is like for some cheap booze from the supermarket.
I am giving 9, not because of lid, I want just save something for the future.

This is a nice rum. I do not feel that it is good enough to has a permanent place on my rum shelf, but I could drink this anytime without complaints.

Pleasant coconut aroma. Smooth to drink, definitely sweeter, too much. Milder than Millonario 10.
