This was a very pleasant sipping experience, nice flavour and warmth. I will be picking up some of this for special events.

First hints, slight bite. But let it breathe, even if only for a few minutes, and it opens beautifully. Soft, smooth... So smooth. Vanilla, caramel, burnt toffee, maybe brown sugar. Sweet, delicious. No bite.
Nice deep copper color. Inviting aroma
Lingering taste, it just sits on the back of your tongue, begging for another sip. And make no mistake, this is a beautiful sipper.

Nice bottle, comes in a tin. Only complaint it's a plastic cork.

This might be one in the finest rums I've ever had. Do not pass up an opportunity to try it.

Ron Peruano de la empresa Cartavio, primera empresa ronera en Peru. Ron de alta gama XO, presentacion en botella de coleccion con corcho de madera, caja desmontable. Precio muy accesible para la calidad del ron, aproximadamente 40 dolares (Duty Free Aeropuerto Jorge Chavez). Ron de gran calidad, de los mejores que he probado, y es peruano!

Mahogni farvet. Sødlig eg, mørke bær og moderat alkohol i næsen. Kompleks smag af muscovado sukker, eg, modne bær og krydderier. Rigtig lækker.

Yum. Smooth, chocolatey, not aggressive, lots to appreciate. Given to me by a mate who I'd helped with some legal paperwork, this was the first 'decent' rum I'd ever had. It ended up tempting me across the divide from the world of Single Malt Whiskey, and I'm now a true sipping rum convert.

Very smooth with lots of flavor. A little on the expensive side, but well worth it.
