The aroma is of dried fruits, crushed nuts and honey. The taste - an amazing combination of raisins, caramel and in the background - coffee beans. The finish is a long-lasting citrus sweetness.

Very surprised with the taste of this rum. Smooth and balanced. Has a natural sweet taste to it.

Rhum sans ou avec peu de sucre ajouté (0-5g/L) trouvable pour une cinquantaine d'euros.
Un rhum en douceur, simple, qui ne se veut pas trop complexe, et qui reste efficace, je le considère comme un repère en terme de rhum plutôt doux.
Une bouteille très sympathique à partager et à faire découvrir aux plus néophytes tout en prenant plaisir à en boire un peu.

Dark brown color. Chocolate, toffy and coconut in the nose. Round and delicious in the palate. No burn. Top stuff.

Nose is mostly alcohol with a touch of caramel. Taste is standard oak, vanilla and caramel, but it's subdued and the only thing that comes through is a lot of spicy burn in the end. The taste is bland, rather dry and although I like this spicy aftertaste (only reason I'm giving it a 5), it dominates far too much and the dryness overpowers everything else.

Personally this rum I think is great. Definitely the age comes through and has a nice oaky hints of chocolate taste. In one sense it’s familiar to other rums and the other it’s completely unique.
