Bought as a sample from www.masterofmalt.com for approx £5 for 3cl. This rum keeps popping up and have been meaning to try it for a while. At £32 on Amazon I may have to purchase a bottle some time after sampling it. Will admit I had my reserves with this one.
Amber liquid, a dark golden rum with prunes and raisins on the nose it's sweet and syrupy. The palate is spicy, a touch of pepper, sweet and slightly firy there's raisin and sherry flavours coming through in the warmth. A slight harshness in the throat but not affecting the experience at all.
This is a wonderful for its price at £32 a bottle on Amazon it's a steal!
