I remember when I first purchased this rum. I wasn't expecting anything amazing. Hell, I wasn't expecting anything good. The reviews I read at its release cemented this belief. So, I just held on to it as a sealed collectable. I ended up bringing it to CollectaCon DFW last year and shared the bottle with the Otherverse TCG team. I was in awe. I couldn't believe the quality of the rum I was drinking. Maybe the intimate reviews were wrong, maybe it was the 7 years it sat untouched, but this rum was incredible. Incredibly smooth and the taste was just sweet enough that someone not a fan of sweet things, was able to enjoy. After I got home, I immediately started to search for a replacement bottle. Reviews were bad, fans found it "overpriced." I believe this would be an easy endeavor. It took me 9 months to find an actual sealed replacement. I paid $180 for it and it now sits upon a stand with my most coveted collectibles. I search weekly for more but have not had any luck. I was a little bummed at the price I paid, but for as good as this rum is, and as hard as it's been to find, I feel like I got this at a steal. If ya come across a bottle, buy it. I don't care if it's $500... BUY IT!!! This is one of the hardest items that I've sought and it's only getting harder to find.

Truly a rum 1st! Who would of thought a video game, in this case Fallout 76, would make a rum from the video game in real life for the gamers of that game to drink while gaming. I had video game virtual me drinking the same rum real-world me was drinking...🤯
So as to the rum, truly torn, the novelty of bringing into real life the nostalgia of a beloved game skews my judgement, but if it were strictly about the rum it’s basically Malibu rum without the pineapple notes but retaining the strong coconut nose and taste but much more artificial...sweetness has this synthetic taste that is bearable but at $70 there are boatloads of better quality rum. So basically buy this if you love the Fallout game franchise or want a killer bottle for your collection.
Nutshell:
Rum: 5
Bottle: 8
Being able to say you have a drinkable Fallout game object: Priceless
