Není snadné tuto láhev hodnotit jako rum. V kategorii rumů by dostal jen 7b. V kategorii whiskey by dostal 8b. A v kategorii koňaků pak 9b. Rozhodnu se tedy pro střed 8b. Protože nejde o jen tak prvoplánový kousek. Má mnoho chutí, málo po rumu hodně po koňaku.

A very decent drop indeed. On the rocks and with a pipeful of Navy Flake is a good way to end the day.

This is a very good rum but for double the cost of XO? I find this true of many top tier selections like; Ron Abuelo Centutia, Flor de Cana 25. These rums just don’t hold up to the price, except for Ron Centenario, and Diplimatico. Hey it’s a good rum not great and not great value.

More richness, leather and wood than Extra Old, but pricy. For slow sipping.

On the rocks, smooth and easy sipping. Toffee on the nose, citrus and vanilla. Enjoyable.

IMO, over some ice or a splash of cold water to open up is the way to go with this one. Some burn into ally but finishes nice. Grows on you as you try to pick up on tasting notes. Nice nose. Tasting notes reveal themselves as you continue to sip.

Bought this 5 years ago when in Barbados, saving it for a special occasion. Beautiful light golden colour with toffee caramel on the nose. Smooth finish with a bit of burn and in my opinion far better than the XO. Agreed it is very expensive but beautiful.

It gives pleasure, a sense of celebration. Much more interesting than MG XO. A bit like cognac. 43% alcohol is not at all burdensome. The aroma is not rich, but its whole action is smooth and complete. A week has passed and I cannot remember anything disappointing.I didn't notice the presence of sugar.

Exquisite! Ambrosia! As good as it gets! Had my first taste at the distillery in Barbados. I only serve to my very best friends.
