So far this is one of my favorite rums. Lovely toffee taste when sipped neat. If you are looking for a good value for money rum that is easy to drink you won't go far wrong than buying a bottle of this stuff.

This cuban rum is very smooth with some spicy notes. Not bad at the end of a dinner.

Matusalem, again a cuban-like rum, although in this case it's a dominican republic rum. However for me goes this rum rather straight into cocktails. He might be a sipper but not for me.

A nice sipping rum. Again easy to find locally for me so it is more of an everyday sipper for me.

Definitely one for fans of scotch. A bite of smoke in the middle makes it a prototypical Dominican rum (and Cuban for that matter). Sweet and smooth around the smoke. Love the bottle too, but for over $30 I was hoping for a bit better. Still, a nice rum that won't disappoint sippers.

A really good sipping rum. I was such a fan of Brugal that I had to try this Dominican Rum as well. It did not disappoint. It's not quite Brugal 1888, but it is great in its own right.

The Solero blending method used here gives this rum a nice light oakiness, with subtle caramel and citrus coming through on the palate.
