Nice, sweet not too rich. Good value for money though.
The rum in consistent, dense and fine from the pov of aromas, the round taste, but it's a little too alcoholic. Maybe I should leave it a bit more to aerate in the glass, before sipping .
Anyway, it calms down after 15-20 minutes in the glass, but the aromas dissipates quite quickly and the taste is inconsistent. 6.8 pts.
One of my first better quality rums. Nice and balanced.
Let it be said right away. I am not a fan of Havana Club. It is way to overhyped and priced for me. With that said, I still could not pass up a free sample of this offering from the Cuban brand. Maybe it could even surprise me in a good way.
Nose: Nuts, vanilla, caramel, tobacco and a slight hint of something artificial, that I can´t place
Taste: Caramel, tobacco, pepper, prunes and cocoa with a very thin and short aftertaste
Overall: This was better, than I feared. I would never buy this as a sipping rum. It is simply to weak for that. It can however work to balance flavors in a cocktail and might be alright just with coke. It is however not to my taste on its own.
Like it, but the taste fades away a little bit too fast for my likings. Dry.

My favourite rum right now, nice taste and flavour. I drank it really enjoyable because it's not as punchy as the most
I'm looking for a challenger to my favourite rum. I want to believe there's better out there but the selection available to me in Thailand is limited. So far in my rum life, this is my favourire. This rum is smooooooth, so easy to drink, just melt into, and feel that nice relaxed buzz that comes with rum. Easy like a smsumday morning, I like to drink this neat. For me it gets a little too diluted with rocks. Goes nicely with most barbecued meats and sauces.
This bottle is not worth its price. It doesn't belong among the high-end rums.
It smells of apricot and peaches.
"Well blended and well-balanced spirit that it’s smoothness shines through. There is very little roughness or aggressive spirit tones when sipped."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
