Havana Club 7-Year Rum is distilled from fermented molasses and aged in charred white oak barrels for seven years.
Havana Club rum is still made in Cuba - where the company was founded by José Arechabala in 1878 and then nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution. Havana Club is now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

Havana Club 7-Year Rum er en ok rom til drinks, hvor romsmagen skal slå igennem. Ren er den godt nok for skarp.
So smooth with such great aroma on your nose ! I use 1cube to chill the the glass , dump it then 2 fingers of this great rum ! It' when you try a sip when it comes alive for me ! This one takes me back to Cuba in the 30's !

This mass produced commercial rum is decent for drinks. The taste is quite flat, but is a step up from the anejo especial or another club rum, you might pour into your cocktails.

One of the first rums I owned, enjoyable mixed but there are others at the same price which are far better.

A solid aged rum with distinctive oak barrel flavors and a tiny bit of sweetness. Good for siping and goes well with cigars.

Havana Club 7 anos is a good and genuine cuban rum. It mainly performs in a fresh and not very complex way. Nevertheless what havana 7 anos does deliver in terms of vanilla, tobacco, citrus and dried fruit is solid entertainment. The price is too high compared to Flor de cana 12 ob pussers...

I wouldn't drink this rum straight up but it's great with lots of ice and fresh lime or with a mixer.
Bacardi company and this all. Not good. Aftertaste good and no more

I heard a lot about this rum, friend brought me a bottle back from Cuba so nicely priced, I expected a lot, but couldn't see what the fuss was all about...shame!
