It goes well with good company. By itself has a slower start and slightly rough edges. Not a super smooth start, but a great product overall!

A solid 8/10. Very smooth without being too sweet. This rum is perfect for both casual sipping and for serving friends at a dinner or a party, with a lingering finish that everyone will appreciate. A well-balanced rum with a luxurious taste and to an affordable price.

Hadn't been impressed by other Venezuelan rums, but this one was pretty good. Balanced and nice notes. Good mixer.

This is not as good as the Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva but good nonetheless. Definitely less sweet than the Reserva Exclusiva with more of a burn but very easy to drink over a large ice cube.

It was alright. I mean nothing special. Easily drinkable but i would not recommend it to Antoine.

Balanced rum with notes of dried fruits, caramel, and oak. Smooth and versatile

Perfume and vanilla. Golden copper tint. Almost a spiciness in finish. Sweet on ling aftertaste.

Whats not to like? nice nose, pleasant taste and a great finish. Cant say its top of my sipping list - far from it but it can hold its own. delightful. nice warmth at the the end but disappears all too quickly. makes me want to watch out for Selección de Familia given my response to this and Reserva Exclusiva.
