Spritten i starten,. Men udvikler sig til at være rigtig god
Lækker rom, til eng os pris.
Masser af egetræ og power.
God sherry eftersmag. En rigtig Jamaicaner.
Not quite my cup of rum. A little harsh and a bitter aftertaste.
En stærk smag som af Agricole men også røget smag, så minder meget om en whisky.
50% alc! Un rom tare! Straight! Corect, fără nimic adăugat. Probabil din cauza tăriei și aftertaste-ul este suficient de persistent.
A little harsh and a long and complex aftertaste...notes of ripe fruit and sugar cane that highlights the typical side of jamaïcain rum.
Powerful and complex aroma. Taste of raisins and some sherry.
I'm starting with this and moving over to TRCL Jamaica WP 2013. Since this bottle is produced in St Catherine, could be a release from Worthy Park too but do correct me if I'm wrong.
Leathery and herbicious and it's very much on the oaky woody side with aroma of coffee beans. Fruity banana with sour cherry compote.
Tannin on the gun and tends to be more funky compare on nosing with spicy and sweet dried fruits. Tobacco leaf and earthy Black coffee.
Tannic on the finishing with fruitiness and acidity of cherry compote. Light funkiness lingering towards the end but mellow. Pretty low on ester but manage to influence a few non Jamaican rum drinkers with it.
A potent 5 year old little devil, finished in oloroso barrels. A deep amber hue reflects in the glass and the nose gives of notes of deep oak, heavily roasted coffee beans, raisins, sour cherries and a hint of buttery dark chocolate. Given the money, there's no lack of aroma here. Same goes for the taste that unfolds intensely with the same notes from the nose, alongside tannic and charred overtones in the medium long finish. I would call this rum more manly than refined, but the 50% vol is acceptably integrated. It works out, but perhaps not for everyone, you gotta fancy the overproof and oaky style to enjoy this.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Beautiful copper color with notes of ripe fruit and sugar cane that highlights the typical side of jamaïcain rum. On the palate, dark chocolate and raisins give roundness with a tonic finish
