Fairly new to drinking rum but i really like this spiced rum. The smell gives u spice but the taste also has a nice sweetness to it. Would recommend this if u are new to rum like me.
Very dark, almost black and with a nose of spice. Mouthfeel is quite syrupy, but itβs not actually as sweet as some Iβve tasted. If anything, it leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste. Thereβs some clove in the taste, but not as overpowering as it can be in a spiced rum like - day - rumbullion. Interesting overall, with an ever-so slightly harsh feel left in the mouth.
Jammer...
Rum of very dark colour.
Sweet fruits and spices on the nose.
Not too sweet on palate, exotic fruits, vanilla and perhaps cinnamon makes it somewhat nice Christmas rum.
I got this for my bietday from a good friend and this is actually a Nice spiced rum. Well balanced, one you can drink neat. Good!
This comes in a good looking bottle and at a fairly hefty premium price for a spiced rum (Β£34). The good news is that it's not bad. It knocks Kraken into a cocked hat (though I think that is quite easy).
Not all that much on the nose - spice and sugar maybe. The colour is a lovely deep brown, almost black.
The taste is sweet - but not overly so. It's not a sugar bomb. The main flavours were cinammon, exotic fruit (banana, mango, date, orange) with a hint of liquorice, chocolate and vanilla. There isn't as much tang in it as some spiced rums (ginger, cardamon, clove etc are not to the fore if they are in this at all). Although I enjoyed it, there was not much aftertaste.
I'll give it another go soon and see if i can add anything else that I've missed so far.
Tried it neat an on the rocks - both ways it was a very pleasant experience. Spiced rum worth recommendation. Sweet taste with strongly recognizable fruit flavor, without having your throat burned by alcohol. Not my last meeting with this brand.
Mostly sweet flavors, but it's spicy too.
You should definitely not mix this... you will ruin the rich palette of flavors.
It's a smooth rum with a unique taste and I might buy one again some day (good price and easy to get for me).
Dark color, very sweet, spiced. I taste mint in it, a little bit of chili.
Itβs nice and rich and tangy.
"Nose is rich mixed berries, chocolate & slightly floral spices."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

The classic taste of Dark spiced, however, you can feel better quality compared to kraken or Black spiced captain morgan
