This is a light and sweet rum not overly sweet for me but noticeable. This is a watching Sci-fi on Netflix sipper not a blockbuster sipper. There are fruit and spice notes but overwhelmingly more toffee, caramel and toasty variations thereof.
Don’t mind if I do...

Continuing the tradition of Cognac Ferrand, this is one of the best choices in rum. Very fine and rich taste, long finish and beautiful flavors.

Pour un rapport Qualité prix. Sans aucun doute un plus pour votre dégustation.

Lässt sich gut trinken, eine angenehme Geschmacksmischung

This far, this rum is simply the BEST! At it's price point, presentation, color, nose, smoothness... It stands as a legitimate contender as among the best money can buy! This is a pure sipping rum that you should not dare water down. Maybe one ice cube just for temperature sake (I like my spirits on the cooler side). Creamy, vanilla, honey, nuts, fruit, it is all there. And just epic smooth!

The other bottle from the Plantation range for around 20€. Again too sweet, not very complex. I'm not against adding sugar to rum in general. But if the sugar overlays simply everything and the whole product come around like sirup with alcohol, it is wrong.

very long and warm finish, fantastic blend, a hint of cherry, vanilla, and sweet spices, a touch of honey, love this rum. One might get the impression of drinking a blend of rum and cognac, it has the sweetness of rum but flavours more typical of a well aged brandy.
