Jonah's Curse Black Spiced

Burn and sink me if this not be snickerdoodle rum! She smells like cookies, super sweet, with brown sugar, vanilla, and a hint of cinnamon. As taste goes, all those are on board, with cinnamon showing up more with the burn... which be mild. This rum be very smooth and easy to drink. There be a fair amount of sugar in this rum, so you may find yourself smackin' your sticky lips afterwards. This rum be cleverly named, but I believe the only "curse" Jonah got from drinkin' this was diabetes... arrgh!!!

Nice balance of flavors and sweetness, even thought they are added/artificial. Has a decent kick at 94 proof.

1oz Dark Rum
1oz Domaine De Canton
1oz Pineapple juice
Combine over ice and shake well
Strain over ice into glass
Garnish with a lime wedge

Always good as a standby, but prefer other options ahead of this. Fairly versatile in terms of a spiced rum as well.

Jonah’s Curse is a delicious spiced rum with heavy notes of vanilla/molasses. Great for the price.

Good rum, on the cheaper side as well see reflected in the price. Very sweet, especially for rum.

This has a better blend of spices than some. It has a large vanilla component with some toffee undertones.

This has a great nose. Nice color. Very flavorful. Brown sugar, cinnamon cardomom and just a touch of clove. But, it's a little harsh on the finish. Not enough alcohol punch to go with it. OK mixer.

Dark color, vanilla taste. Decently priced. Not a bad go to drink.

So much fake flavor in this one. Fake vanilla, fake caramel, etc. Fairly sweet, no hints of oak or spice.
