En anden rom hvor det desværre er for lang tid siden at jeg har smagt den til at jeg rigtigt kan huske det.
Fortjener en opfrisker, men husker den som lidt væk fra det helt søde jeg eller normalt er meget til

A great sipper ! Sweet, but not to sweet.
Would be a great rum for people who like whisky.
And i know some people do love it because it hasn't got added sugers.
For me personaly it doesn't matter, i like sugar added rums also.

This is another fantastic aged rum from Foursquare. It’s naturally sweet, has little burn, leaves a long warming aftertaste that makes the throat glow. Long finish at the back of the mouth.

Starts off with a great aroma on the nose - very sweet with a noticeable hint of grape.
Flavor is unique - starts off sweet, then a bit of spice with a not so subtle zinfandel finish. My first impression was that it was not what I had hoped, but the flavor grew on me. A bit on the dry side, but not horribly so. Definite drinker and sipper, opens up wonderfully with an ice ball and a few minutes to breathe.

I really dont like this style, but this one is surprisingly good.

I find herbs and spices to be really dominant here. Aftertaste should be a bit longer in order to give it 9.
Very "powerful" but well-balanced rum. Good price/quality ratio!

Very easy going rum. Is sweeter (not sweetend!l than most other Foursquare rums, which makes it very easy to drink.
Light fruity strawberries, a great mix of vanilla and spicy notes on the mid palate.
"The finish is long and nicely oaked – the initial sweetness of the sip gives way to the oak and spice from the bourbon casks."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Nose: Summer fruit pudding, bags of strawberries, raspberries and plums. Some definite oak but light and soft oak, delicate caramel, vanilla and some molasses. Some spirity notes and a touch of varnish. The nose it at one time light, fruity and floral, slightly grassy and then at the same time you can feel deep brooding pudding smells are lurking. It’s a nose that makes you want to take a big mouthful of the waiting rum.
Palate: Thick, full mouth feel, coating but not cloying. Sweet delivery with loads and loads of fruit, you can really get the wine casks in this. Strawberries, raspberries and plums again, some pomegranate, and then a big whoosh of candy floss/cotton candy. Oaky mid-palate and then moves on to toffee, butterscotch, butter and baking spices. There is a little touch of licorice, vanilla pod and something almost savory in there too hiding at the back; paprika or Garam Marsala. Dry coconut as things move to the finish.
Finish: Long. Drier than the palate but still sweet. Strawberries and fresh whipped cream, milk chocolate and maple. That coconut from the end of the palate stays into the finish and then it starts to get spicy with some white pepper, clove and a touch of ginger but it never bitters.
