Dos Maderas PX 5+5

A strong gold-brown colour in the glass. The aroma is sweet, some sherry, also light medical. The taste is fruity, a little bit sweet but also slightly medical and bitter. The finish is medium long.

Really sweet and easy to drink without any burn. I have seen so many ratings about this rum, so I decided to taste it myself, even though I have moved away from sweet rums for a while I therefore decided to give it a go.

Notes i get raisins and sherry. Taste i get dates, raisins, sherry. Good balance between nose and taste. I get no after taste and It is i bit too sweet for me, but if I tasted it a few years back, I would love it. For that reason I will give it an 8.

If you like really sweet rum with sherry notes, then this is the rum for you.

This rum got me. I would have given him 10 before, but now after tasting about a hundred rums I give him about 85%. Very specific rum, and when are my eyes closed, I will always know that I am drinking Dos maderas.

Ako rumár začiatočník si dávam pri výbere rumu pozor. Na tento kúsok bolo mnoho dobrých recenzií tak som ho skúsil. Neľutujem, je to skutočne dobrý rum a neje to žiadny cumlík. 5 rokov bolo v sudoch od cherry a to tomu rumu dalo brutálnu chuť. Podľa mňa najlepší rum aký som ja osobne pil.

This rum is really good. Goes down smooth and not to sweet. Very enjoyable as Sipper neat or with a few drops of water.

It's decent but better rums for the same price are out there. Interesting notes with the sherry finish though

My the first from cherry cask. Not for me, little more leather, smoked wood and oil in taste and with negative typical "medical/chemical" aroma -> means max 5 rating ... It is not sweet at all.
