Doorly's XO 6-Year

To be honest the main quality of this rum is its price. It's not a bad rum, let's get clear, it has no real other default than being a bit too light: You won't keep a strong sensation, neither good nor bad, while drinking this rum.
At least it is sold at the price it worthes.

This rum brings fine oak spices into the air. In the taste i find Caramel, banana, some abricot, and walnut.

Another fine rum from Barbados. This is a complex rum, full of flavor that is best sipped neat.

Au nez on est sur du fruit sec.En bouche il est plutôt doux et l'on retrouve dans un premier temps ses notes de fruits secs qui dérive peu à peu sur des notes boisé.Un rhum un peu trop doux à mon gout.

Tout est dans le titre.

Quite smooth (as you'd expect from an aged rum), but a bit disappointing with regards to complexity of flavors.
The nose is also perhaps a bit underdeveloped for something with a "XO" label on it.

Easy sipping and well priced.

great for mixing with cola. smooth and mellow, simple but tasty. very good value.

Nice smooth rum

I like sipping some Doorly's as an everyday rum. It's a step up from Old Brigand for the Foursquare products. I like their Rum Sixty Six and R.L. Seale better. Doorly's can be found in NJ and DE. Unfortunately, Rum Sixty Six is found in Barbados and Europe... and my bottle is empty. I would recommend Doorly's to complement the others.
