Very good tasting rum. Not to sweet and nice color and aroma. At only 16 dollars a bottle this is a must try.
Nice dry sipper. Has a nice sherry after taste.
Medium complexity and burn.
Good buy!
Haven't tried it with coke yet, though I expected this would end up being a mixer.
Hele goede rum voor deze prijsklasse. (€25) Afkomstig van Barbados en 6 jaar houtgerijpt. Smaken van karamel hout en wat sherry. Ook nog super zacht. Gewoon top!
Ahh now for my everyday drinker. Great price good noise and just a good mild burn on your throat. Go for it you can't go wrong.
Doorley's XO has a beautiful comlex body that keeps on surprising you
Es un Ron Perfecto y lo mejor es su precio en USA $13
good gracious.....nab a bottle. $14.99 at your local Total Wine. i'm lucky to pass one on my commute so it's my friday pilgrimage. jeez, this stuff is the real thing. take Pyrat and its wonderful liqueur sense and bring back the essence of true dark rum...sort of a lighter, less sweet but much more intense and real Zaya. amazing stuff. i could go on. but i've had too much...cheers
Really light body, but good taste with a light burn. Finishes with a lot of sherry notes.
Fine and not too expensive sherryish rum. I have read from somewhere that they don't put any additives to this rum, so it's quite dry. Many rums are very much sweetened. This is tasteful and nicely sherryish and nutty rum thing. There is sharpness, but there is also balance and quality. For the little money recommended, but don't pay too much. My advice.
It has that distinctive light and fruity Bajan nose. .
"It’s nicely balanced and subtle on the nose. The rum is initially quite sweet with notes of toffee, banana, a little orange and citrusy lemon/lime. The finish is long and quite spicy with a hint of oak."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is a special rum to me as this was the first "premium" rum I ever tasted. It has been a staple for me ever since in my journey through the world of rum.
Nose: Clear notes from the time spend in sherry-casks with a hint of smoke
Taste: Vanilla, nuts and a long, sweet and complex aftertaste with clear hints of sherry
Overall: This is a fantastic rum. It is a bit too expensive, which also hurts the rating, but the taste is just wonderful and something everyone should be able to enjoy.
