Produced in Barbados by master distiller Richard Seale, the rums in Doorly XO have been aged a minimum of 6 years before finishing in Olorosco sherry casks. The second maturation in sherry casks is rare and gives Doorly XO its unique flavour.

Not the greatest flavour, but has some chocolate notes and I like to add it to my hot chocolate.

Habe mich durch den günstigen Preis für einen XO verführen lassen und war dann doch enttäuscht - wenig komplex, dafür recht alkoholische Schärfe. Auf jeden Fall kein verzuckerzer Rum.

In allem: geht so, dafür mir leicht zu scharf, würde ich nicht kaufen.

Sherry cask aged. Tastes like sherry or brandy, but not rum. I guess it's fine if you like that sort of thing. I don't. It's why I'm a rum fan.

Nothing very special or noteworthy here. Pretty standard rum fare with a nice dry light sweetness on the backend. Not a bad value for $33 US. It’s good for sipping if you aren’t looking for anything bold or unique and it ships work well in any rum cocktail that calls for an aged rum.

I like doorlys but this one tasted rather bland,I could taste sherry influences and that's it. Its good and such but not for me.

5.5 on my scale. Bought for a friend. Tried it over ice. Decent with a bit of an afterburn. Better mixed

This Rum was recommed to me in Total Wine by one the sales associate, so I had to buy it. For the same price I can get a much better rum, which meets my expectations as a premium rum.
