Great for mixing

Lacks a lot of the real bold qualities I use rum for. Works for where rum is used but would certainly not be one of my first rum options.

Has been my well rum for a long, long time. Excellent call spirit for any number of "and" cocktails, hemmingways, and a very light mojito.

Column distilling doesn't murder the cane juice. Still get a little bit of burnt sugars through the heavy sugar cocktails.

I picked up a bottle for €18. For this price I can get way better and sometimes cheaper light rums such as Plantation 3 Stars, Flor de Caña 4 or Havana Club 3. The rums doesn't have a lot of flavor or alcohol bite to it. I found it not as bad as Bacardi Carta Blanca or Captain Morgan White, but it doesn't really do anything particaly well. Decent in a Rum & Coke or Mojito, for a Daiquiri there are better alternatives.

Better than Bacardi superior. Noticeably smoother and easier to drink. Pretty solid young rum.

This one is really good for mixing. Light floral flavors, no harsh alcohol burn, no overly sweet notes.

Neutral, light, boring, but not unpleasant.
They made a really good sugarcane vodka.

Very light floral nose. Light vanilla bean. So neutral not sure what to do but mix. I prefer more of everything.

This is my go-to PR rum for punches, and especially coquito. It’s a better value Demerara than the others at this price point (Bacardí, Barrilito 2 star), no frills, no additives.
