The black bottle makes you think of liquorice. And not without reason - as the content has clear notes af anise seeds and as such is quite different than your mainstream sipper.
Coffee taste - a must have in my bar
The first taste quite strong and maybe not that nice. However, there's a pleasant and long aftertaste.
Nose: oak, sugar, alcoholic, nutty ,
Taste: insipid taste ,caramel , alcoholic , light sharp , vanilla , little bit dry fruit.
Nothing for me.
Dry, not sweet by any measure. Complex. Good rum, but not my favorite style.
Des arômes intenses et une finale longue
There is a hint of tobacco and a touch of tar. Overall though its mostly sweet.
"It has a reasonable amount of alcohol burn to reassure you it is a 40% spirit. It’s more like a kind of sherried flavoured vodka. I’m sure such a drink exists somewhere."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Update: Tried this rum the day after, with a better result.
Less bitterness, and more of the rum taste, but still an unpleasant bitter sensation in the finish.
Update from a 3 to 4.
Interesting bottle, with a weird feel. Almost rubber like, but a funny ceramic sound.
First nose from the bottle - Port wine, sweet, prunes, vanilla, chocolate.
In the glass, beautiful amber color, lovely legs.
Nose - Caramel, vanilla, chocolate, molases.
Taste is strong at first. The notes of the rum is at first hidden by a bitter taste. Sweet in the middle, with a hint of vanilla and caramel, but again ending with a sharp bitterness.
Very weird rum. Initially expecting a lot from the bottle, nose, and color, but getting a weird, bitter tast that lasts all the way through. Its a real struggle to find the notes of the rum behind the bitter tast. Definitely not a favorite of mine. Bought it because I heard interesting things - Not always good things - about it, and I can say, this wont be going in the bar cabinet again when its empty.
