Opthimus Port Finish 25-Year

An excellent rum from the 25-year-old Opthimus series, which is balanced and has an interesting finish. You can really feel the Port wine finish, but it is still subtle.

balance of sweetness, influenced by the port, and its smoothness despite its age and richness. Sweeter rum with layers of flavor that unfold as you sip.

At the beginning it was excellent, very good smell and good taste, after a month after opening the smell has disappeared and it smells a little too woody. For the cost it's not worth it

Delicious and sweet, very complex but not hard to like. This is one of my absolute favourites, slightly better than its whiskey enfueld sibling.

Raisins, berries, decent barrel in aroma; raisins, plums, berries, barrel and cherry finish in body; sweet heating tail.

It's my favorite rum for now. It has longest aftertaste from all that i tried: light, perfectly balanced, a little sweet from porto. I recommend.

Found great rum bar at Venetian Hotel. Perfect timing after Trade show for Opthimus flight. Started with 25 port, my kind of rum dark full bodied slightly sweet with a nice port finish highly recommended.
