A. H. Riise XO Reserve Port Cask

Another piece of Riise miracles.. Vanilla, nuts, berries..

Not so sweet as known by Riise, bit orange, fruity taste. Port finish makes decent aftettaste even if 45%vol.
Definitely like it.

Sweet nose plus orange, mango, vanilla taste. Smooth for 45%.

Knap så sød som mange andre A.H.Riise. 45%. Smagen af port kan fornemmes.

Cask strength (45%) and sweet, though not the sweetness usually associated with the name. Tastes of fruits and slightly of vanilla

So sweet, sugar added. You are instantly overwhelmed by a Christmas spirit dew to the strong citric and parfumed taste. The strong aromas explode in your mouth like a sweet bomb. Trully special rum from A H Rise.

Fine strong taste, but also so sweet like every Riise rums (maybe little less than others). Big positive is nice smell and taste from port cask. I can imagine have a bottle.

More complex riise. Simile notes, but more wooden taste, and less of the overwhelming orange peel.

this one is really very sweet. it's hard to find the port influence.

Ganske udemærket rom, men som alle andre AH Riise er den meget sød, også lidt for meget til min smag, men fin smag
