A. H. Riise 1888 Copenhagen Gold Medal

Simply the best A.H riise rum. That is classic in design, taste and everything they bottle. And then it doesn’t cost 100 dollars or 750kr so for once its very worth. A sweet rum and nicely evenly smoothen.

It's not like any other rum I tasted before but is does make me think of kruskovac, a peach flavoured liquor from kroatia

Nose - mulled wine with spicies, sugar. Sweet smell.

Taste - sweet, little bit spicy, hint of vanilla and fruits.

Interesting. It has christmas vibes.

Smells great - oaky with apricots, on the pallet there is a weird hint of leather.
Amazing with Coke.

A bit spicier for me, but still a decent flavored rum.

En god,söt och len eftersmak. En tendens till spritsmak men inget som stör.

Habe heute diesen Rum aus dem Hause Riise probiert und war schlichtweg begeistert. Er kommt grundsätzlich der Black Edition sehr sehr nahe. Nicht ganz so voll im Geschmack, aber bei guter Zimmertemperatur herrlich süffig zu einem Preis der es alleine wert ist, diesen Rum zu kaufen. Jeder der es etwas süsser mag, liegt hier voll im Trend.

Nice smell of apricot and in tase as well, fruity but little but much sweetnes dor me, still fresh. End is fresh and lot of fruit on the pallete, 7/10
