Bayou Select

Not much good is coming from the US - only the South has its merits. BAYOU is a cool brand with nice rums

Very nice rum, this is definitely Bayou's best. I would rate it at a 8.5. I have only tasted this stuff neat and it was very enjoyable from the nose to the finish. Definitely more complex than their other rums and more of a mans rum with less sweetness. Good Stuff!

I really like this Rum. Yes, it is "young" and a bit firey to taste, but the flavour is there. Like a caramel flavoured Agricole.

This is a great buy for the price. I absolutely love the flavor.

Tasted at Laka Lono on 11/29/21. Wonderful caramel toffee and butterscotch. Soft palate. Nice buttery maple syrup flavors. I'm pleasantly surprised by this one.

Ναι ..... Ρούμι από την Αμερική , όσο κι αν ξενίζει κάποιους ...... καλό ευκολόπιοτο , θυμίζει burbon , άξιζε τη δοκιμή και άφησε μια ευχάριστη αίσθηση ...... Σίγουρα δε μπαίνει στα αγαπημένα μου , αλλά είναι ένα καλό (not sweet) ρούμι ...... Μη φοβάστε τη χώρα προέλευσης και κάθε λογής "δαιμόνια" !!!!!!!!

Like the white version, this is a fairly smooth for the mix. But I prefer this brown one. Flavors like banana, caramel and vanilla are the first thing that comes to mind.

The bottle lured me in and the taste didn’t disappoint. Thankfully my new local Asda take their rums seriously

I like the bayou brand. This is a good sipper. I probably prefer it to the spiced.

This was given to me as a present. Nice dark amber color. Nose reveals hints of vanilla and caramel. It is much more mellow than I was expecting with very little after burn. Taste light molasses and doesn’t linger for too long.
Not a collectible but not a throw away neither.
