Clement XO Hors d'Age 6-Year

This was my favourite rum when I first tried it. Warm cognac flavours were wonderful and rich. Day 3, the rum was sharper on the palate, but still with warm vegetal notes. Opening the bottle a week later, most of the pleasing qualities had given way to a sharp and only very lightly aged rum. A few months later, I have put this in the bar as a mixing rum for variety. Definitely not worth the high price of admission.

This is a very pleasant blend. Lots of age oak. More depth than many of the Clement blends. I would say it is an affordable blend as close as you can get to the rare single vintage rare rhum Clements in the "straw bottles"

Voici un vieux rhum aoc bien travaillé. La force tranquille

Bouche boisée, torréfiée et fruits secs avec une finale longue en bouche laissant apparaître la présence de notes grillées.

Beautiful gold color with amber reflection. The nose is on the fresh cane, very vegetal, floral. There are exotic fruits, very ripe pineapple. A light but present woody that takes its place slowly. We arrive on candied fruit, plum, prune. On the palate woody bursts while being very soft. Spices are powerful too, there are buttered notes. Beautiful length on a spicy and hot finale.

Puissant au nez, mais soyeux et sucré en bouche avec une touche de vanille. Belle surprise.

Este romul care persista cel mai bine mirosul. Am gustat dintr-un shot si a doua zi inca mirosea paharul. Frumoase arome, bogate, rafinate si autentice. Se simt arome de tabac si fructe exotice. Nu este dulce cum spun altii. Prerul este putin cam mare dar merita banii.

Un excellent rhum, parfumé, généreux avec un parfum très gourmand.

Un bon rhum un peu fort en gout mais très boisé....
