Ron Esclavo XO

Really interesting rum. It has an amazing odor. It sends you in direction of something really sweet and nice. Touch of orange and sweetness. The taste is nice and sweet. It is a little strong in the after taste - in a great way. Recommended for the experienced rum taster.

Vilken arom och smaken, den är helt utsökt, och blir inte avskräckt av vol. % den är på 65 vol. % men det märks varken på arom eller smak eftersom den har fått mognats och lagrats väl.

Dette er en fantastisk blød og behagelig rom, der smager super godt. meget tæt på en 10´er.

Vanilla and brown sugar, with a slight alcohol burn.
Oliver & Oliver taste, but not too strong.
Nice rum.

Awesome dominican rum! Not the smoothest one, but still very smooth. Not the sweetest one but still sweet one. Close to perfection.

Sampled Ron Esclavo XO rum as part of my Rum Advent calendar. I expected this rum to be very sweet based on my own research and it is, indeed, very very sweet, to the point where the flavors of the rum are hardly noticeable. Those who prefer sweetened rum will definitely enjoy this one but for me it hardly qualifies as a rum.

Smooth and neat rum with rastes of vanilla and honey.

Something that is needed at home

Sweet, caramel taste. Slightly too harsh and too short. The base is there, but it doesn't fully come to life

This rum is really really good for the price. I recommend you try it If you like sweet rums with a little kick in the end.
