Old J Spiced

Not a very subtle Rum in terms of added flavour. Imagine a full strength rum version of Southern Comfort. But with strong vanilla and lime overtones. But an amazingly addictive Rum nonetheless. I'm more a mixer kind of Rum drinker but I like this neat with ice. If you want to convince someone who doesn't like sipping rum then this is probably a good place to start. Doesn't really work with mixers anyway as it tends to overpower them.

Tasty, sweet spiced rum. Intensive vanilla flavor with undertone of lime. Perfect for ladies. I prefer drink straight up or on the rocks.

Lots of vanilla flavour, but for vanilla-y rums I prefer Rebellion. Quite smooth on its own or with ice.

This is basically a British version of sailor Jerry's and has same taste and consistentancy . .... Lovely with coke and lime

Po přečtení recenzí se mi nechtělo věřit, že je opravdu jako starý Sailor, ale po čase mi to nedalo a rum jsem koupil. Nepoznám v chuti rozdíl, i když to bylo už před 7-mi lety, co jsem ho pil naposledy. Přítelkyně je z něho nadšená, takže mohu pouze doporučit.

I bought this thinking it was the straight old j variety. Boy what a really pleasant surprise. Smoother than it has any right to be on its own for an inexpensive blend. then, mixed with coke for a great mix. Easy on the palate with the taste of the lime and vanilla coming through straight away. Love the long toffee aftertaste too. At 35% it works well poured generously too.I shared the bottle with myself in a single weekend and didn't feel any regret until I realised I wouldn't have another bottle for a while. Now looming forwards to that time. Dec recommend.
