Solid for price.
Without specific notes, great for cocktails.
Gott med lite söt rom efter libanesisk middag. Kryddig.
It's a average rum for me, no real distinguishable taste. Kind of a mixture of flavour.
The nose is sweet and seedy and smells quite pleasant.
Not a sipping rum, had with ginger ale and it was OK.
For the price it's OK.
Most probably would not buy again
Well priced decent everyday rum, works great in mixes, but can be siped as well
It has that nice buttery almost floral, sweet vanilla-ed nose. It’s pretty distinctive.
"It is sweet with a nice hit of vanilla ice cream and some slightly spicy dark chocolate, almost cocoa like notes."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Nose, sniffing the bottle first: Sweet Shellac, lacquer, cobblers glue, citrus, brown sugar, some smoke.
Nose: lacquer with citrus and brown sugar, honey, heather, my late grandfather's leather workshop! sweet residue of molasses honey.
Tongue: Pineapple, Mandarin, delicate hint of molasses, younger alchohol bites but rather smooth and pleasant sweet sour complexity builds up towards nice bitterness at the finish. surprising fading into ripe Carambola (star fruit)!
Finish: Lingering Pineapple and Mandarin, balanced sweet to sour medium length, discovering hints of even more complexity at the fading stage. i could swear i tasted Carambola at the end.
No idea why i had discovered this rum so late in life, it is very affordable, great value for money and above all a premium grade sipper. specially for those who don't mind some little bites of youth. although the stated 5 years age is on par with 8 year statements of Jamaican famous brand, which is compliment to what the 5 years can do to the Angostura.
on the complexity and age palate level of 8 year Appleton Estate and Havana Club Anejo
a great example of how a great rum should taste and feel!
