This was a great rum, I'm not big in words when it comes to describing rums, but I'm trying to learn ;-)

Scent of leather, sugar cane honey, figs, Vietnamese cinnamon, vanilla, beeswax and saffron

Taste: Subtle and complex at the same time. With a certain initial sweetness on the entrance, it grows up and dries up to a beautiful dry complexity with dried dark fruit, spices, cinnamon, leather, vanilla, oak charcoal, and leather pale touches of sweetness and base of sugar cane complex and deeply sophisticated.

Aroma brings mollases and tea. Taste is at first shaded by alcohol biteness later there are hints of oak and dried fruit. Finish is bitter and longlasting with tones of bourbon. Overally not bad, but character seems to be quite unmatured for 18yo rum.

This is first rum out of 24 box, which is really excellent. Very very long and rounded finnish.
Not so intense on nose, however rich on aromas such as dry apricot, herbs, bit of smoke. Flavour is mainly fruity, withmedium sweetness, very intergrated alcohol. Lots of elegance.

Wow, stands out in a good way. Nose: honey, raisins and plums. Palate: honey, dark chocolate and exotic fruits in a perfect not to sweet harmony. Don Pancho knows his stuff.

Velice sladká vůně, první dojem z chuti také sladký, pak přijde rána v podobě tvrdého, nevyzrálého alkoholu v podstatě bez chuti...

Cannot agree with all those superb ratings: this rum is very sharp in nose and palate, long afterburn too. Strong smell of alcohol. Did I get the wrong bottle or is this rum just highly overrated?

Fornuftig rom. God duft, med mange nuancer. Smagen er forholdsvis moden og mild, men med en fin lang eftersmag.

Voici un ron, issu d'un blend, qui n'a, apparemment, subi aucun ajout. De plus, il est passé dans des fûts de chêne américain en provenance du Kentucky. C'est très prometteur :)

Au nez, je perçois des notes de caramel, de café, avec des notes plus boisées, plus sèches,
En bouche, c'est assez vif, boisé. Les notes de caramel sont aussi au rendez-vous,
Enfin, il présente une belle longueur, plus sèche, sur le chocolat amer,

Un ron qui me semble bien équilibré et pas trop sucré,
