forget those other so called coconut rums. if you are looking for a honest to goodness coconut rum, stop right here. yes, it can be a little sweet. and syrupy almost. but you can actually drink this on the rocks and know it's a coconut rum, not a coconut infused grain alcohol...
discovered this (and other BG flavored rums) on St. Kitts in 2007 and was so glad Zack brought it to the states! I stock this as a regular mixer and everyone who tries it loves it. (personally, I blend it with some "real" rum to cut the sweet factor in some drinks. but that's the nice part about it; you get a great drink no matter how you use it!)
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I saw this bottle in a liquor store I frequent in Maryland, and thought I'd give it a try. Much to my delight, it was an exceptional explosion of rum and coconut from the first sip. Perhaps a bit over the top at times, it's still delicious. I could easily sip (gulp?) this rum neat or on the rocks all day long. It's addictive.
