Rumbullion Spiced

For me this one was dissapointing. I'm into sweet rums but the combination of spices just isn't my thing. One of my Friends even compared it with jagermeister...

I like sweet rum and also have no problem with spiced versions, but this one is absolutely out of the spiced rum rank :-(
Smells bad like medicine, first taste only sugar and hit of orange, but the aftertaste!
Like herbs liquer (remindes me Jagermeister) perhaps thanks to clove...
If I did not know that this is rum I would definitely not identify it.

It's very Christmasy style of rum, perhaps I would only have it then.

I was really looking forward to taste this, but don't like the spice that is REALLY dominant.

Loads of nutmeg, pepper, orange peel and soft caramel. Not bad at all for a spiced rum.

Was introduced to this by a Colombian friend who is a rum buff. Goes down quite well as a post-prandial liqueur, but an up-market straight (unspiced) rum is much preferable.

Orange zest, clove and sweet molases in the end of the aroma; sweet caramel start, spicy caramel and cinnamon in the middle and herbs in finish of the body, no tail.

Spiced rum, I can taste cardamom and cinnamon. A bit orange too with rum background. May go with a mixer, but not a great one neat (for me!).

This rum has a lot of spices. It tastes like speculatius. But it's also too sweet.
I would prefer a less sweet version.

Smell: cloves, cinnamon, speculoos, black cherry (sugared), cardamon
Flavor: cinnamon, cloves, speculoos, sweetness, cardamon
Finish: sweet with spices
