The first overproof rum I tried, and the one I always keep on the shelf. It's aroma and flavor are unmistakable, perhaps a bit "headsy" but pungent and bright. Compared to it's brethren Rum Fire, this is far more versatile, a bit smoother, and also less costly. It packs a wallop of flavor that doesn't overpower the drink.

Don't waste your time drinking it neat. This is a solid base for anything calling for a white spirit or tequila. And for that, there is no better white rum than the W&N Overproof.

Only for use in cocktails and then only sparingly. Not to be drunk straight as it will knock you out! Tastes nasty by itself but can be used in cocktails.

If you just need a ovenproof shot or if you need some Tiki Fire, Wray and Nephew does a good job at both.

Lots of ripe banana notes. I use it in punches and enjoy the complex funk and concentrated flavor it lends to drinks. I don't think it kicks too hard for such a strong rum either.

No way to get through neat. Had to get the ice. Strong and poor.

If you donโ€™t know what funk is, you are in the right place. I didnโ€™t know whether to rate this 9 or 2. Funky flavor. Acquired taste. This is not your Bacardi silver. Itโ€™s the opposite white rum

Very strong as you would expect burns then quickly evaporates. Leaves a raw taste in the mouth so if your planning on speaking to someone your interested in, have some mints on stand by, excellent rum though

Hehehe this is what you add to spice up classic rum cocktails, just a dash adds a lot of ripe fruit flavors (those esters amirite?) and a serious alcohol punch to the head. A great, long-standing Jamaican classic liquor, notoriously potent and flavorful.

You need this in your cabinet and on your bar.
