Captain Morgan Parrot Bay Coconut

Great crowd pleaser. This is a nice twist on a classic rum and cola. There is a 100 proof too, but I have not seen it in a few years.

Coconut Parrot Bay is used in conjunction with another rum to make my house pina coladas. This way I add additional coconut flavor along with the rum. For those who don't care for the flavor of rum, I use this alone. Also for the lightweights its low in ABV. It's much better than Bacardi, but this isn't a sipping rum. Aficionados of rum are not going to pleased with this offering. This is marketed to the college kids and the party goers. Use it for what it's meant for and its an average drink.

It has a very sweet coconut flavor without being overwhelmed by the alcohol. Great for mixed drinks.

For those wanting a nice mixer for summertime. Sweet and very coconutty as the name would suggest. A nice recipe:

1oz Parrot Bay
3oz Pineapple juice
3oz Club Soda

You will put them back one after the other and won’t know you are drunk until you move.

Good with pineapple juice! If you want a really sweet and tasty fruity drink go for this coconut rum, mixed with pineapple is not bad. For a hot summer day in Miami at the beach this baby would the job for sure.

This is a smooth drink. Good coconut flavor that is easy to drink by itself. Goes great for a pina colada. The only issue and big I think, is it’s waaaaayyyy sweet.

This rum does the job to add coconut flavor to mixed drinks. No doubt it's full of sugar and syrups to get that coconut flavor. So, if this is all your looking for in a coconut rum, by all means this is a great choice on the budget.
