belle bouteille on la croirait sortit d'un vielle épave du fond des mers, au nez sa sent la guimauve la vanille, le sucre cuit, au gout ces bizarre on dirait un sirop pour la toux, le caramel, avec un gout spécial dont je n'arrive pas a expliquer, je pense qu'il est taillé pour des cocktail avec des fruits frais il sera largement au dessus des premier prix de grande surface mais a déguster sur glace non En revanche il conviendra parfaitement au débutant qui veulent découvrir le rhum

This rum is great! one of the best i have ever tried. Sweet and good spices. might be sweet for some people, but the mix is fantastic.

Un de mes premiers rhum, au début j'aurais mis un bon 8 mais après avoir découvert d'autres horizons, ce rhum me parait fort "bidouillé"

Un arôme de chique limite exagéré...pas mauvais mais too much dans le goût.

If you like your candy at 40% alcohol, this might be for you. To me it is way too sweet. It is truly unique. Just not in a good way.

I just came back from a trip to Negros Oriental, Philippines where Don Papa rum is made. Like the lush,sweet and beautiful island of Negros, Don Papa will put you in a state of sweet vanilla heaven being one of the smoothest rums I've ever had. Goes very well with Ginger Ale. Salamat Don Papa!

I tasted this Rum in a nice pub in Ostend. I really liked the sweet taste. I liked the smell and i was surprised that the rum tasted differently than the smell. From now on I am going to explore more rums.

this rum has a good taste in my opinion. pretty smokey aswell. if you search for a smokey rum wich tastes like vanilla this is definitely something for you. I'm in really good mood, that's why this rum gets a 7 out of 10. Otherwise a 6 could be a even better rating

This is probably one of the easiest rums to sip. It is smooth and very sweet. Purists are probably not really happy with this rum, but for me it is in my favorites.

I can't say much about it. For me it's just undrinkable. Maybe it's because I expected rum when I tasted it.
