Lots of vanilla. Pretty solid rum, but I don't really want to sit and sip it. Great mixer for 20 bucks.

It is ok, nothing special, will not buy again because of simplicity
Simple and a bit Sharp. Not realy special but also not bad. Good for a mix with coke, ice and like om the beaches of Costa Rica!

No surprice, but no bad rum. Is possible to interchange this with another spanish style rum.

Ein absoluter Fehlgriff. Zum mixen wäre er gut. Leider brachte er mir nicht bekanntes Rumfeeling.

Clearly the worst rum from comp. of 7 rums in a row. Finished this one first simply to get rid of it. Very bittery and also a bad aftertaste.

Táto značka má viacero vekom odstupňovaných kúskov, začínam 7-ročným. Fľaša štandardná, až na masívny plnoprofilový plastový uzáver. Farba je svetlá až medená, vôňa dosť liehová, s náznakom vanilky. V chuti je vanilku cítiť ešte viac, v podstate dominuje. Rum je skôr suchší, cítim ešte dubové tóny, inak tento nápoj ničím nevyniká, spektrum bádania je veľmi úzke. Až chvíľu po prehltnutí sa dostavuje intenzívny burn, záver je výrazne štipľavý. Chuťové bunky odpálené po dvoch ľahkých dúškoch. Za danú cenu skôr sklamanie, trochu mi to pripomína spiced rumy, ktorým moc nefandím. Subjektívny rating 4,5, do mixu ideálny. Ak budem skúšať drahšieho brata, pôjdem už minimálne do 12-ročného.

Frankly this is basically the same as the 9-year rum but with a little more of an edge. Just as with the 9-year it has a nice aroma Some little woodiness to it along with a nice vanilla flavor. A little more of an edge to it than the 9-year. I give both a 7 but it's more like a 7.75 for the 9-year and a 7.25 for the 7-year. Not much difference between the two. Whereas the 9-year makes for an acceptable sipping rum as well as a mixer, I feel the 7-year is best suited as a mixer and not as a sipper. Other than that they are pretty much twins. Works GREAT in Coke Zero.
