Havana Club 7-Year

Heavy leathery notes on the front, once you get past the harshness, it does settle on your palate. Better with a medium to full bodied cigar. Didnt like it much without a cigar.

I'd not tried a Cuban rum and was pleased to try it at a friend's. Very drinkable in any format, easy on the pallet, if a little smokey in initial taste. Not the best but definetly not the worst. It's a good one for all occasions.

This rum is meant for mixing and not to be sipped. Good for a rum and cola.

I’ve tried to test it and rate it multiple times. But I just cannot identify any compounds (in terms of taste and aroma) that I could name correctly. For me not a sipper, a not a cola partner. Just something I won’t return to.

Every bar has it , comercially in an example of marketing , for that price you can get twice quality .

Would get this in a simple bar when night out with friends

Un rhum avec peu ou sans sucre ajouté (~5g/L) trouvable pour pas très cher, soit 20-30€.
Plutôt connu pour être un compagnon de moment cigare, sa simplicité en bouche viendra en sa défaveur lorsqu'il est consommé seul. En effet, il semble être un mélange uniforme de boisé et de vanille qui souffre de son manque de complexité, le rendant oubliable.
Un petit rhum qui viendra accompagner des moments simples, sans prétention. Je ne conseille pas de l'acheter si l'on souhaite déguster quelque chose de spécial, voire de particulièrement bon / unique.

Good and quite pleasant to drink rum. With a rich aroma and mild taste. Good for cigars, cocktails and entertainment. It brings back unforgettable memories from Cuba.

This rum has pretty strong alcoholic taste and smell. It's smokey, woody, not overly complex and a bit harsh to drink neat, ice does it good.
IMHO its a bit overrated, in that price range Abuelo 7 is head and shoulders above.

Not a bad rum.Has typical cuban light notes.
Mix with coke for coctails.
