I didnβt think I was going to like it. Nice molasses smell. Wonderful dark color. Enjoyed the flavor, less molasses than odor would have suggested. A bit strong with the after burn. Mixed nice with coke. Wish it didnβt have a screw top. 5.5 - 6 on my scale.
Easy drinking rum in which the molasses come through strong. Enjoyed straight or with coke.
Wonderful darkly sweet molasses flavor ends with a nice finish
Favorite mixer and very smooth straight
This rum has a distinct molasses taste and packs a nice punch. The latest addition to the shelf for dark mixers.
Skipper rum has a really nice deep dark red colour, and a pleasantly sweet (with a little alcohol) smell. This rum starts with a heavy molasses taste, followed by a sweet treacle flavour. Simple yet enjoyable. Unlike some dark Navy style rums, Skipper mixes easily with Cola or Ginger Beer, making for a nice light (er than expected) drink.
Nose is straight up Demerara and molasses, sweet and slightly burnt. Taste is sweet with a burnt note again, lots of Demerara, maybe a hint of muscovado. Bit of alcohol burn. Long lasting Demerara finish. Rated it 6 on initial impression but it grew on me
Quite a bit of sweetness.
"Itβs sweet and spicy and you get a taste of raisin in the mix."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This one was a bit odd but it is a demerera rum.Haven't drunk many demerera rums but I thought this one was quite ok. Demerera is not at all like the other types of rum. Think you should try it.
