Bacardi Superior

Big name, poor quality. Light, tasteless, alcoholic and utterly forgetable.

The absolute bar default. Would never buy a bottle but its fine when nothing else is available.

Had awesome nights drinking this. Good to go out with but can't name it the real rum.

Pleasant, does the job for cocktails. Will always only buy on special as it gets thrown into punches..

good rum ony for the cocktais , but I prefer havana cub 3

Not exactly something I'd call exemplary. Definitely something to pass on.

This rum it doesn't taste like rum. Is more like a vodka. I don't like it.

And I don't mean that in the "dark horse in a tasting contest" sense. It's a step above the 'only sold in plastic bottles' rum brands, and it's inoffensive as a mixer, but it has nothing to stand on in and of itself. I'd take this before Captain Morgan, but there's a LOT of other rums I'd take before this.

Tasting notes: ethanol and vague sweetness on the nose. Immediate buttery and sugary note on the palate, but no evolution beyond that, and soon it just fades to an ethanol burn. Very one-dimensional.
